What Amy Stands For
-
Conservative Values That Don’t Back Down
Amy is pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, and pro-law enforcement. She’ll protect religious freedom, secure the border, and stand strong against woke agendas in our schools and government. Amy will fight to ensure that the Texas promise of liberty and freedom is safeguarded for our children and grandchildren. As a Christian, mother, and small business owner, Amy lives by her conservative values—and she’ll bring that same strength to the Texas House.
-
Cut Property Taxes and Fix the Broken Appraisal System
Amy supports real, lasting property tax relief for Texas homeowners and small business owners. She will fight to rein in skyrocketing appraisals, demand transparency and accountability from appraisal districts, and push for responsible budgeting at every level of government. Last session, the state held a $24 billion surplus, yet none of those dollars were returned for the benefit of House District 60. Amy will be a representative who brings those tax dollars back home to you. Amy knows tax reform starts with fiscal discipline—not empty promises.
-
Fight for Strong Public Schools, Not Austin Bureaucrats
Amy supports strong local public schools that reflect our communities’ conservative values—not top-down mandates from Austin. Amy will fight for state dollars to increase special education funding, treat teachers fairly, and keep our children safe. Amy will safeguard parental rights and defend homeschoolers from all forms of government intrusion. With a voucher entitlement program now passed into law, she believes it’s critical to control its expansion to ensure taxpayer transparency and to protect funding for rural and suburban schools. Amy will fight to remove costly state mandates, restore discipline and accountability in the classroom, and keep education focused on reading, writing, and real results—not political agendas.
-
Protect Water and Invest in Local Infrastructure
As a landowner and businesswoman, Amy knows that water is life in Texas. She’ll protect landowner rights, fight for smart water management, and invest in the infrastructure our growing communities need. Whether it’s water, roads, electricity, or broadband, she’ll make sure our part of Texas doesn’t get left behind.
-
Defend the Right to Self-Governance and Stand Up to Austin Overreach
Austin politicians and bureaucrats are increasingly trying to take power away from our counties, cities, and school boards. Our right to self-governance is under attack. Amy believes the people and their local leaders—not distant state agencies—should decide what’s best for our communities. She will defend citizen control on issues like zoning, law enforcement, and economic development, and will push back when the state oversteps.
-
Put Our Communities First
District 60 reflects the heart of Texas—rural communities, small towns, and fast-growing suburbs. Amy will be a voice for all of us, fighting for better roads, safer neighborhoods, and the resources our region needs to thrive. She’ll make sure we’re not ignored by Austin’s power brokers or special interests. Amy will be a representative who is not beholden to private interest groups, the Austin swamp, or big money. She will be accountable only to YOU–the People.
